How the raffle works

One $25 ticket for a shot at the Silverado. We draw it live when we hit our goal — and if we don't, every ticket is refunded.

1

Enter

Pick how many $25 tickets you want — every ticket is a separate entry. Georgia residents, 18+.

2

We draw the truck

Once we reach our goal, we draw the Chevy Silverado 4×4 among all tickets — live on YouTube at our licensed Dawsonville premises, witnessed and recorded.

3

Win it — or get refunded

The winner drives off in the truck (or takes the cash equivalent). If we don't reach the goal by the drawing date, every ticket is refunded in full.

Where the money goes

Questions, answered

Is a raffle running right now?
Not yet. Cars Helping Kids runs licensed charitable vehicle raffles periodically. Join the free early-notice list above and we'll email you the moment entries open.
Is it legal and licensed?
Yes. Each raffle is operated by Fainting Goat Foundation Co, Inc. (EIN 99-0472123) under a raffle license issued by the Dawson County Sheriff pursuant to Georgia O.C.G.A. § 16-12-22.1. No entries are sold or accepted until that license is in hand and a raffle is officially open with published official rules.
What will I be able to win?
Every $25 ticket is entered to win a 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 4×4 — clean title, 4.8L V8, automatic — drawn among all tickets once we reach our goal. (The winner may take the cash equivalent instead.) If we don't reach the goal, every ticket is refunded in full.
Who can enter?
Legal residents of the State of Georgia who are at least 18 years old, consistent with Georgia charitable-raffle practice. Full official rules are published for the raffle.
Does joining the early list cost anything or enter me to win?
No. The early-notice list is free, involves no purchase, payment, or donation, and is not an entry into any raffle. It only lets us email you when entries open.
What if we don't sell enough to give away the truck?
If we haven't reached our goal by a drawing date, the truck draw rolls forward until we do (within the license period). If it still can't be completed, every ticket is refunded in full — and you can request a refund any time before the drawing. No one is ever locked in.
Are raffle tickets tax-deductible?
No. When a raffle is active, ticket purchases are not tax-deductible as charitable contributions, because you receive a chance to win in exchange. Donating a vehicle to Cars Helping Kids, however, is tax-deductible — see our donation pages.
