Know someone with a car they no longer use?
Help them turn it into support for kids. Share one link, send the flyer, or point them to our small Dawsonville team.
Cars, trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, boats and RVs are considered, running or not. Pickup is free for accepted vehicles. We confirm the vehicle, ownership paperwork, location and pickup arrangements directly with the donor.
Repair shops & towing companies
When an owner decides against a repair, offer donation as one option. Give them our number or link so they can contact us themselves.
A vehicle must be donated by its owner or an authorized representative. Donation does not resolve an abandoned-vehicle or storage-lien issue.
Churches & community groups
Use the copy below in a bulletin, neighborhood newsletter or community post. The flyer is ready for a noticeboard or email attachment.
Please share where the organization or group permits charitable announcements.
Families & estate professionals
Clearing a driveway, garage or estate? Tell us what the vehicle is, where it sits and who has legal authority to transfer it.
An estate or trust may need additional ownership documents. We review the situation before arranging pickup.
Make a link for your organization.
Use a public business or group name. The link helps us understand which community introductions result in donations. There is no signup, commission or fee.
Please let the donor submit their own details. Do not enter a donor's name, phone number or vehicle information into this link builder.
What happens when someone calls?
- We ask about the vehicle, pickup location, condition and ownership documents.
- We confirm acceptance and arrange free pickup with the donor.
- After disposition, we provide the required donor acknowledgment and Form 1098-C when applicable.
Our home area includes Dawsonville, Gainesville, Cumming, Dahlonega and nearby Georgia communities. Other locations are reviewed under our service-area policy.
Cars Helping Kids is the foundation's vehicle donation program. After towing, sale and operating costs, net proceeds support the foundation's charitable priorities. A donor's tax deduction depends on IRS rules and individual circumstances.
