Class A, B, and C motorhomes; camper vans; fifth wheels; travel trailers; toy haulers; truck campers; pop-ups; and some park or destination models. Listing a type here is not a guarantee of acceptance.
What determines acceptance
Transport condition
Does it run, roll, steer, and brake? Are the tires inflated and safe enough to load? Are slide-outs retracted?
Size and access
Length, height, approximate weight, road width, gate clearance, surface condition, and room for a hauler all matter.
Ownership
Title state, registered owner, signatures, lien releases, estate documents, and storage authorization are reviewed before pickup.
Condition and contents
Water damage, fire, missing parts, pests, propane, batteries, sewage tanks, personal property, and hazardous materials can affect feasibility.
How to request an RV pickup
Title, storage, and liens
RV and trailer title rules vary by state and vehicle classification. A motorhome title may differ from a travel-trailer title. If it is stored at a campground, repair facility, tow yard, or storage lot, the property owner may require payment or a written release before transport. Active liens generally must be resolved before ownership can transfer.
Tax documentation for an RV
The tax rules are not automatically more favorable because an RV is large or valuable. When a charity reports an arm's-length sale, the deduction is generally limited to gross sale proceeds. Form 8283 and appraisal rules depend on the amount claimed and whether the gross-proceeds limit applies. Read our vehicle-donation tax guide and the current IRS instructions.
Where net proceeds go
Fainting Goat Foundation Co Inc is the legal recipient. After towing, sale, title, and operating costs, net proceeds are available for the foundation's charitable priorities. We do not claim that every RV funds a particular child, outcome, or fixed program percentage. Read our transparency report.
